Fantastic cinematography and great acting isn't quite enough to hold up the lack of investment I had in this fim. It's just a bit too slow and inconsequential to make the tension really draw you in.

Plot overview
After the unexpected death of the Pope, Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with managing the covert and ancient ritual of electing a new one.
